The Little Foundation (the foundation I'm helping with) together with CONNECT3E (see their works here www.connect3e.org) headed up from Hua Hin beach (Thailand) to place where there is no electricity, no proper road, no basic facilities at all called "Baan-pa-la-u-noi"
We met with more 30 Karen coming in with their health issues - headache, rash, toothache, menstrual problem, pregnant issues, ect.
Our team included Emma (the director of this trip) who provided basic medical care for the Karen and volunteers who helped her out with doing medical record and educate the kids how to wash the hands and teeth properly (infection control).
When: 30th June 2012
Where: Baan-pa-la-u-noi, Prachaub-kirikhan, Thailand (where the Hua Hin beach is!)
